Thank you all for your goodbyes, I will miss everyone a ton! I’m super excited for this trip though. Yesterday around 6:30 AM Washington time and 2:30 Spain time, the Hansen family said “Hello” to Barcelona, Spain! It’s beautiful here, and though our apartment isn’t perfect, we love it just the same. The weather all this week (In Barcelona, Madrid and Toledo) is supposed to be between 70 and 95 degrees and SUNNY! Finally, I was actually getting a little tired of Washington’s constant drizzle. I love Spain, especially because I understand so much!! I can read menus and most of the signs, especially at the airport. Spanish is the only other language I know, and I love to speak it! We have had quite a few adventures here already, from the restraunt called Glop to Dillon’s sleepwalking, and I’m excited to have more, like the Sagrada Familia and Gaudi art today I am so excited to finally leave North America and visit the countries I have studied all year in school! I hope everyone is doing well in WA, and I’ll post my view again later!
